ENTRY PERMIT |
The Entry
Permit confers the holder
with permanent residence in Zambia. The permit sets out
conditions for the holder to engage in an occuptation of his or her choice while in
Zambia and not to participate in local politics.

PROCEDURE FOR
APPLYING FOR AN ENTRY PERMIT
|
There are different foreign
nationals that can be issued with an entry permit as stipulated below;
i)
Persons who have been ordinarily and
lawfully resident in Zambia
Application Steps
- Complete Application form (Form 3 )
- Obtain two recent passport size
photographs
- Collect supporting
documentation

Copies
of previous and current passport
·
Documentary evidence in support of continuous stay inZambia from
1963. documents should be in the
form of electricity bills, water bills, pay slips, birth records, school
reports/certificates, Radio/TV Licences, Income Tax receipts; etc.

Certified copy of
Aliens/Commonwealth Registration card
·
Two reference letters
- Write a cover letter to Chief
Immigration Officer
ii) For parents, wives
of Zambians, minor children and grandchildren of entry permit and certificate
of status
holders
Application Steps
- Complete Application form (Form 3 )
- Obtain two recent passport size
photographs
- Collect supporting
documentation

parents/guardian/spouse

Statutory marriage certificate in
case of married women
·
Certified copy of
Aliens/Commonwealth Registration card
·
Proof of capability of maintaining the dependant from the
host
- Write a cover letter to Chief
Immigration Officer
iii) Employment permit
holders (15 year policy)

- Obtain two recent passport size
photographs
- Collect supporting

iv) H olders
of self-employment permits who have been in Zambia for more
than 3 years

- Obtain two recent passport size
photographs
- Collect supporting
documentation

Inspection report from the nearest
Immigration Office

Current
bank Statement and Audit report from the ZICA or affiliated audit
firm
